Yesterday was EPIC. I had the pleasure of meeting the man himself, Andy Frisella.
•
I’ve followed him very closely and looked up to him for some time. Andy grew up on a small farm in Missouri, where he learned how important hard work and dedication is. After college he opened his first supplement store, Supplement Superstore. During the first 10 years of business he would’ve made a lot more money if he had been working at McDonald’s. Then something happened. His years of dedication started to pay off. He is now the CEO of multiple highly successful companies, one of which if 1st Phorm.
•
Being able to meet him in person was SUPER cool, but mostly because it helped me to realize that he is literally just an average person. What sets him apart, however, is that he executes every day. No excuses. He wakes up and owns the day. He does what he needs to be done even if it isn’t comfortable or easy. He learns from his mistakes. That’s all there is to it.
•
Having a successful life is blatantly simple. Win the day. One day at a time, one week at a time, one month at a time. As Andy said during his interview with the .mentality podcast, there’s no “success fairy”. Success isn’t like playing the lottery. It’s a formula that anyone can follow.
•
Are you willing to do the work?
•
Living an easy life now will be harder in the long run. The opposite is also true. Live a hard life now and the rest of your life so much easier.
•
Win the day, win the year, win.
