Today’s menu is bringing a little bit of everything, running, bench press, and wall walks!

Running helps build cardiovascular endurance and stamina, allowing you to recover faster and perform better during workouts. Bench press develops upper-body strength and power, while wall walks challenge your shoulders, core, and body awareness.

When you combine endurance, strength, and gymnastics movements in one workout, you’re building a more well-rounded athlete and improving overall fitness. Remember, every workout can be scaled to meet you where you are today. The goal is simple: show up, work hard, and get a little better than yesterday!

HUGE congratulations to all of our members who recently reached the incredible milestone of 500 classes! We also had one dedicated member & the owner join the 1,000 Class Club- and with a few more right behind them!

These milestones don’t happen overnight. They are built through early mornings, busy schedules, hard workouts, sore muscles, and the decision to keep showing up even when it’s tough. Consistency is one of the most powerful tools you can have on your fitness journey.

Every class attended is an investment in your health, your strength, your confidence, and your future. Whether you’re working toward your first 100 classes, your 500th, or your 1,000th, every step counts and every workout matters. (Some are more than 1000+ we just didn’t have wodify for the first year— so extra credit for those of you that have been here 5 years+)

We’re so proud of each of you for taking your health into your own hands and making yourselves a priority. Keep showing up, keep putting in the work, and keep proving that consistency truly pays off!

Whew… it’s been a long week, crew!

Thursday is typically our lighter day and a chance to recover, but we know schedules don’t always cooperate, so we’re still here for those who need to get their fitness in today. And wow… today’s workout was no joke!

Great job showing up and putting in the work. Some days the biggest win is simply walking through the door and keeping the promise you made to yourself. Today, you did exactly that.

Now it’s time to focus on recovery:
*Get your protein in
*Drink plenty of water
*Get those electrolytes in
*Stretch periodically throughout the day
*Prioritize good sleep tonight

And don’t worry, we’ve got something fun lined up for tomorrow! Think heavy accessory work, bodybuilding-style movements, and a chance to build strength in all the right places.

We still have class at 6pm tonight with Coach Dave if you missed this morning!

Congratulations to everyone who made our Committed Club this month!

Your stickers should be arriving this week, and they’re more than just a sticker, they represent consistency, dedication, and the choice to show up for yourself day after day.

Fitness isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being committed. The days you don’t feel like coming in are often the days that matter the most. Every class, every rep, and every effort adds up over time.

Great job today, crew!

You tackled a fun mix of running, double unders, dumbbell farmer carry walking lunges, and dumbbell bench press. Every workout is an opportunity to build strength, endurance, and confidence, and you all showed up ready to put in the work!

Looking ahead to tomorrow, we have a few different things on the menu, including muscle-ups. Don't let that movement intimidate you! One of the best things about CrossFit Slower Lower is that EVERYTHING is scalable. Whether you're a beginner walking through the doors for the first time or an experienced athlete chasing advanced skills, we have options for you.

Can't do muscle-ups yet? No problem! We'll work on the strength, technique, and progressions needed to help you get there. Every athlete starts somewhere, and every skill is earned one step at a time.

What a great Saturday partner workout!

This morning’s crew tackled wall balls, pull-ups, dumbbell snatches, and box jump overs with some awesome teamwork and effort. There was plenty of sweat, encouragement, and high-fives to go around, and we couldn’t be more proud of everyone who showed up and put in the work!

Now it’s time to enjoy this beautiful weekend ahead.
The weather is amazing, so get outside, soak up some sunshine, and take advantage of some active recovery. A walk around the neighborhood, a hike, a bike ride, or simply moving your body can help you recover and get ready for another great week in the gym.

Great job today, crew! Enjoy the weekend, you earned it!
