A huge thank you to the Frankenmuth Lions Club for once again playing a big role in the success of the 51st Annual Volksläufe!

As they do every year, the Lions generously supported the event by serving food from the grill on July 3 and a delicious breakfast on the morning of July 4, helping keep runners, volunteers, and visitors fueled throughout the celebration.

It was also wonderful to see so many people enjoying the beautiful new tables and chairs in the Lion Haus Biergarten, creating a welcoming place to gather and enjoy the festivities.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued partnership and support of the Frankenmuth Lions Club. Their dedication to our community is one of the many reasons Volksläufe continues to be such a special tradition. Thank you for all you do!

As we wrap up another unforgettable Volksläufe weekend, there's no better way to close things out than by saying thank you.

After days of setup, an early morning, and an incredible race day, our volunteers were beyond grateful to be welcomed with delicious pizza from Lazy Dog Pizza. There may not be a better feeling than sitting down with an amazing slice after giving everything you have to an event like this.

But what makes this so special isn't just the pizza. It's the people behind it.

Lazy Dog Pizza has been a tremendous supporter of the Frankenmuth Jaycees and so many organizations throughout our community. Time and time again, they step up to give back, support local events, and invest in the people who make Frankenmuth such a special place. That kind of generosity doesn't go unnoticed, and it makes a bigger impact than most people ever realize.

To everyone at Lazy Dog Pizza Co., thank you for helping take care of the people who spend countless hours serving our community. Your kindness, support, and partnership mean the world to us.

RACE DAY IS HERE! 🇺🇸👟

Good morning, Volksläufe runners and walkers! Today is the day — welcome to the 51st Annual Volksläufe – The People’s Race in Frankenmuth!

The weather is expected to be warm and humid this morning, so please take care of yourself before and during your race.

Race Day Reminders:
Hydrate before you arrive
Wear lightweight, breathable clothing
Apply sunscreen
Adjust your pace for the conditions
Listen to your body

Please seek assistance right away if you feel dizzy, lightheaded, overheated, nauseous, weak, confused, or unwell.

Packet Pickup opens at 6:00AM

Race Day Start Times:
10K Run – 7:00 AM
Half Marathon – 7:15 AM
5K Run – 9:00 AM
5K Walk – 9:05 AM
2K Fun Run – 10:00 AM

Please give yourself plenty of time for parking, packet pickup if needed, restroom stops, and getting to your start area.
