The West Marion Middle School basketball teams will be traveling to Perry Central on Tuesday, June 23rd, for a day of competition.

🚨 Practice Update 🚨

Due to the incoming weather, there will be no practice tomorrow for the West Marion Middle School basketball teams.

We will be back in the gym on Friday and ready to get back to work:

🏀 Girls: 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
🏀 Boys: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

Stay safe, enjoy the extra day of rest, and be ready to come in focused and ready to improve on Friday.

🏀 West Marion Middle School Basketball Update 🏀

No wins for either our girls or boys team today, but there was a noticeable difference from Game 1 to Game 2. Both teams showed more determination, grit, and toughness as they continued to compete. They battled through adversity, played together, and played hard until the final buzzer.

The scoreboard may not reflect it yet, but progress is being made. We are building a foundation based on hard work, discipline, and perseverance. This is a process, and our athletes are learning that growth comes through effort, resilience, and refusing to quit. Work in Progress. Brick by Brick. 🖤❤️🏀

West Marion Middle School Basketball is on the move.

Both the West Marion Middle School Lady Trojans and Trojans will tip off their first Summer League games on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Collins Junior High School Summer League Shootout.

The first banquet for the Middle School Lady Trojans Banquet with the High School Lady Trojans was a great experience. I am proud of these ladies and the unwavering dedication they have exhibited. I extend my gratitude to my 8th-grade team for exemplifying the standard and creating an environment of competitive grit and a winning mindset. I will forever cherish the bonds made with this group.

To the 7th-grade team, it is your turn to uphold the standards as you transition into 8th grade. Your commitment to excellence will be instrumental in shaping the future of our program.

Important Information 🚨🚨

You do not have to wait until next year to support your middle school teams. We will be actively involved during the summer to prepare for the upcoming season next school year. Our practice sessions will be held every Thursday and Friday in June from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. for the girls’ team and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the boys’ team.
