Homecoming: Mike Vrabel and the Patriots reached a multi-year agreement to make him New England’s next head coach, per sources.

Vrabel now is the seventh individual to become the head coach for a franchise he once helped win a Super Bowl as a player, joining Jerod Mayo, Bart Starr, Forrest Gregg, Art Shell, Jeff Saturday and Jason Garrett.

The New England Patriots announce Joe Judge demotion. Bill O’Brien is officially the Offensive Coordinator/QB Coach.

There was reportedly serious turmoil with the New England Patriots and Joe Judge, but despite that, they are giving him another chance in a new (undisclosed as of now) role.

Here some new details in regards to the type of conflict happening around Judge within the organization.

“sources inside and around the organization who spoke on the condition of anonymity for fear of retribution from the Patriots.”

Belichick would “blast” Judge in practice and added “it wasn’t uncommon for Judge and (Mac) Jones to trade profanity-laced outbursts.” The story goes on to report that Judge spoke “extra loudly in meetings, trying to project like he was the guy” and that rubbed players the wrong yay.

“Mac didn’t like him,” one source, who spoke with an agreement of anonymity. “At all.”, per Mark Daniels.
