Ice Shanty Rental (full day or overnight) on Fox Lake, WI. Enjoy the sport of ice fishing with famil Sleeper shanty on the productive and popular Fox Lake, WI.

Enjoy the sport of ice fishing with many comforts of home. Gather your buddies and head out to the lake for a night. Plenty of jigging opportunities for crappies and tip-ups for walleyes. Our heated ice shanty sleeps up to 6 persons. individual directional lighting, power adapters for your cellular chargers, basic bathroom accommodations, ample shelving for all your gear, a propane grill and one t

ank of propane, and a stow-able table. Family friendly.

$300/ a day
$250/2days or more

Price includes power, propane to heat the shack and a tank of propane for the grill. Check in is at 1pm
Check out is 11am

Special accommodations can be made if necessary. Things to bring (not included)

Fishing license
Tip ups (available for rent)
Jig poles (available for rent)
Vexilar or Marcum or flasher (Vexilars available for rent)
Warm Clothes
Extra heater if you have a tendency to get cold easy

It has been brought to my attention that some people are having issues finding my page. I don’t know what is going on with my account but I figured I better get this out before I’m erased completely. Thanks to everyone for a wonderful season!!! We appreciate all of our fishing friends that enjoy a taught game fish bite this season with us. I don’t know if we are going to continue this adventure but keep our information and reach out to us. I still might get a few of you out on the ice in the years to come.
Thanks again to everyone that has kept me on the ice for 14 years!!!! I truly do live to teach new people how to ice fish.

Just like that we completely booked up. Word got out about the cold temps and my phone went crazy. Sorry for anyone wanting to book for the 2025 ice season but like I try telling everyone, you need to book early. Tight lines everyone and be safe out there.

Well we were well on our way to having an ice fishing season. Earliest good ice we have had in 4 years. But the 12” of snow didn’t help. Now all the snow is melted hopefully we get some cold before we lose all the ice we had. Anyone out in these warm temperatures be safe. The shorelines go quickly. Here are some pics from Thursday in the fog.

Found a couple fish today, but the action sure wasn’t fast and furious. People are getting way too brave out here. I just checked the thin spot off Maple point and still only had 4 inches of ice. The rest of the lake has at least 9 inches but I have been watching ATVs cross that 4 inches and they have not gotten wet. Just be safe out there. I hate to see anybody get hurt, tight lines, everyone.

just a friendly reminder people, just because you have 11 inches of ice in the bay does not mean the lake is safe for Atv/Utv traffic. There is still open water off of Maple point, and we have found ice as thin as 2 inches on the main lake basin. just because you see a local out with a UTV does not mean it is safe, they know where the ice is safe and not. stay safe out there and tight lines everyone.

We finally have walkable ice fishing. There might be some hope after all. We will see what this polar vortex gives us this week. Fingers crossed!! I will know more by the end of the week. For those that are battling this cold just to get some fishing in be safe out there and tight lines.

Well 51 degrees on Christmas. I have mixed feelings about it. I love to ice fish so it sucks BUT wearing a T-shirt to all the Christmas parties was pretty nice. It’s not looking good for anyone that has booked with us for a sleeper shack this January. The guided fishing we still might have a chance in a couple weeks. So sorry once again that Wisconsin winters don’t happen anymore. One of these years we will get back to normal. I’m not giving up hope yet for February rentals. Hope everyone has had a safe and wonderful holiday and tight lines to everyone!!

Well our weekends are officially all booked out. Sorry for those of you that wanted to spend a weekend fishing with us. Now it would be nice to get some ice so we can full fill the weekends that are booked. With the 50s we had yesterday it’s not looking good AGAIN for this year. I will be it touch with everyone as the ice forms( or don’t form) this year. Good luck, be safe, and tight lines everyone.
