After six incredible years of ownership and over 10 years open as a gym, this is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write.
Exalt Fitness Fowlerville will be closing its doors.
This decision has not come lightly, and honestly, the hardest part is what this means for our loyal members and coaches who have poured so much commitment, trust, and heart into this gym. You have been the soul of Exalt.
Due to personal family needs, including the blessing of expecting our 5th baby, I need to step away from owning this gym and focus as much time and energy as I can on my family during this season. I truly hoped to find the right buyer to continue what we built here, but unfortunately, that was not possible.
When I bought this gym during COVID, I saw something special in this community. I believed in Fowlerville, in its people, and in the possibility of creating a place where individuals of all fitness levels could walk through our doors and find strength, support, and belonging. It has been an absolute privilege to be part of your lives and journeys.
To every member, coach, and person who supported Exalt Fitness over the years, thank you. Thank you for trusting us, for showing up, for working hard, and for making this place far more than just a gym. You helped create something truly meaningful.
Our final day will be May 25th, and we will close out this chapter the best way we know how, by hosting MURPH together. This event will be open to the public, and we would love for our community to join us one last time as we honor the journey, the memories, and the people who made Exalt what it is. While this chapter is closing, the building itself is available for lease. My hope is that someone with a passion for fitness may choose to continue serving this community in this space. And if someone has other dreams of opening a business here, we welcome those possibilities too.
Fowlerville has meant so much to me, and I will always be grateful for the opportunity to serve this community.
