🚨 PLAY BALL! 🚨

The Four Oaks Fire Department is trading in our fire hoses for softball bats this weekend! We are excited to announce that we’ll be playing in the Selma Fire Department's TrainTown Softball Tourney! ⚾️🚒

🗓 When: Saturday, May 30th
⏰ Time: Games start at 8:00 AM, Four Oaks Fire plays at 11 AM
📍 Where: Selma Middle School

This is our first time in their tournament, and we need our amazing community, family and friends in the stands to help cheer us on! Bring the whole family out for a day packed with:

🎟 Awesome raffles

🍿 Delicious concessions

🚒 Plenty of your local firefighters!

🚒 CONGRATULATIONS ARE IN ORDER! 🚒

The Four Oaks Fire Department is incredibly proud to announce a great accomplishment for one of our own. Please join us in congratulating Firefighter/EMT Turner Thompson on his recent academic and professional achievements! 🎓🎉

Turner, who is assigned to Station 2 on C-Shift, has officially graduated with his degree in Fire Protection Technology.

In addition to his degree, Turner went above and beyond to earn certificates in:

A True Professional

Turner’s journey in public safety began as a Junior Firefighter, learning the ropes and dedicating himself to the craft from the very start. In his relatively short time with our department, he has consistently demonstrated an unmatched drive, a relentless work ethic, and a deep dedication to the fire service.

Upgrading his skills to the Paramedic level and diving into management and investigation shows exactly the kind of future he wants in the fire service.

We are truly blessed to have personnel like Turner on the line, putting in the work behind the scenes to better protect and serve the citizens of our community.

This past week we kicked off our 2026 Spring Fundraiser! We will not be going door to door asking for donations, but instead are sending these flyers to be less intrusive and more respectful of your time. All proceeds will go towards purchasing or upgrading equipment that is needed to continue to provide the high level of service our community deserves.

This year we added electronic payment options. Just scan the QR code to pay by credit card, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, or Apple Pay.

🚧 MAJOR DEVELOPMENT AT FOUR OAKS FIRE STATION 2! 🚧

We are thrilled to announce that construction is officially underway on our new, state-of-the-art training tower at Station 2! This structure is being built entirely from repurposed shipping containers (Conex boxes). 🚒

This project is a massive accomplishment for the Four Oaks Fire Department! Why?
✅ It keeps our staff in our fire district for critical facility training.
✅ It integrates dozens of different training scenarios all into one versatile structure.

Once completed, this multi-story tower will allow our crews to train on-site for:
🏠 Residential & Commercial Fire Attack
🆘 Advanced Search & Rescue Operations
🪜 Ground & Aerial Ladder Placement
🛑 Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) Exercises
⚙️ Technical Rescue (including High-Angle and Confined Space)
🚪 Forcible Entry Scenarios

Having this level of training available at our own station ensures our firefighters are better prepared, more proficient, and always ready to serve the community.

Yesterday, C Shift took full advantage of the beautiful weather to get some hands-on time with our new gear! ☀️🚒

The crew spent the day training with our new Holmatro OmniShore set, putting the equipment through its paces. Training focused on:
✅ Tripod Systems – Refining our technical rescue setups.

Constant training with our latest tools ensures that when the call comes, we’re ready to provide the highest level of service to our community. Great work, C Shift! 💪🔥
