24K Racing Report— Muddy Creek Edition
Muddy Creek is officially done and somehow we all survived. The quads are filthy, the gear smells illegal, and there’s enough Tennessee dirt in our trailer to qualify as waterfront property. But we walked away having FUN and with only minor emotional damage.
Official Racing Report:
Dustin Murphy #12
Vet 30+ C class — 8th place both motos.
Dustin spent the weekend successfully avoiding wrecks, mud holes, and public embarrassment. Most importantly: he did NOT get lapped by the A/B riders this week. Now, whether that was due to improved riding or the fact that Muddy Creek is approximately 47 miles long remains under investigation.
Either way, we’re proud of him.
⸻
Kayleigh #015
70cc Auto — 12th both motos.
Moto 1 started with some fuel/carb drama off the gate. Kayleigh would like everyone to know she is now accepting mechanic applications….
Qualifications include:
* showing up
* pretending to know what a carburetor does
* and surviving being questioned by an 11-year-old “mechanic”
Moto 2 went much smoother, which was honestly a little suspicious.
90cc Auto
This quad may finally be entering its “cooperative era.”
Moto 1 went awesome with a 7th place finish.
Moto 2 was going really well too while battling birthday boy Kenton! (Angela Marshall) until the chain exploded and ended those plans immediately.
Still ended up 7th overall, which feels pretty impressive for a machine held together by hope, dreams, and occasional threats.
90cc Shifter
13th and 12th for 12th overall.
This class is TOUGH. These kids are out here riding like they pay their own parts bills. 😂
Girls (8-13)
Moto 1 nearly sent Mom into cardiac arrest. Kayleigh got caught behind a holeshot pile up and started the race…..dead last.
And then this child absolutely went to WORK.
She CHARGED through the pack and worked her way all the way back to 4th place. THIS is the riding we know she’s capable of, and we were so proud watching her dig deep and go after it. 😍
Moto 2 had slightly less chaos and slightly more “Sunday Drive” energy for 6th place and 5th overall.

Kristin #016
70cc Auto
Kristin’s official race summary:
“Nothing to report.”
Honestly? Respect.
14th overall.
Girls (8-13)
12th in both motos.
Post-race highlights included:
“I was in front of some people for a lap.” and “I really liked that first double!” She would also like everyone to be warned:
“Next round, I’m beating them all.”
We support this level of confidence. Go get em girl!
⸻
Kasey #019
Made her 2026 ATVMX National debut this weekend and landed on the podium with 3rd overall. 🥉🥉🥉
As the only girl in this class, Kasey reported that she “weally likes passing those boys,” which honestly feels exactly like the kind of energy we’re looking for around here. 💅 💪
Huge shoutout to Gracie Lundry and Makayla Newell for letting Kasey tag along with the “big girl racers” all weekend.
Kasey reports she signed approximately one million autographs and is now accepting fan mail. 🩷
⸻
Kye #021
Kye spent most of the weekend on the “little track” completing roughly fifty-leven laps and learning extremely important scientific facts like:
* a Milwaukee battery charges in exactly 37.6 minutes
* snacks disappear faster when siblings are nearby
* and high fives from Joel Hetrick #88 automatically mean you won the weekend!
He would also like to report that:
* Heath Hannah #61 “did weally good and took a picture wif me” KaChow!
* Stiles West Racing “was weally fast out there too”
Outstanding journalism. No notes.
⸻
Overall, we’ve got some work to do before the next round:
* quads to fix
* chains to replace
* everything to pressure wash
* and at least three people who need naps immediately!
We had a blast, made some memories, and we’ll be ready to do it all over again.
