Hello all, great job to all the riders at State finals.

Update on the Labor Day parade. Below are the details on the parade on September 7th (Monday)

Since we will be on bikes, perhaps we can all hold the flags we use for our own parade lap for "patriotic colors"
If you are planning on having your rider participate, we ask that you attend the parade to help with rider wrangling, and we will also need a few volunteers to walk with the CCBMX banner. Please add +1 or the number of riders that will be in attendance, and also comment if you can help with the banner.

Details from City of Fountain:
The 2026 Fountain Valley Fall Festival Parade theme, “Fabrics of America,” celebrates the many people, traditions, cultures, stories, and milestones that have helped weave together the history of our nation, our state, and our local community. As we commemorate America’s 250th Anniversary and Colorado’s 150th Anniversary, parade participants are encouraged to creatively interpret the theme in ways that highlight community pride, patriotism, heritage, service, agriculture, education, small business, Western traditions, and the spirit of Fountain Valley.

Parade entries may incorporate quilt-inspired designs, patchwork concepts, historical storytelling, Americana décor, patriotic colors, Western heritage, community collaboration, or representations of the “threads” that connect generations and organizations together. Participants are encouraged to think creatively through floats, decorated vehicles, walking groups, costumes, music, performances, banners, and interactive elements that reflect how their organization, business, or group contributes to the fabric of our community.

Ideas for entries may include:

Quilt or patchwork-inspired float designs
Historic or patriotic tributes
Celebrations of local businesses, schools, nonprofits, and community groups
Western and agricultural heritage themes
Military and first responder recognition
Cultural or family traditions passed through generations
Community unity and service projects
Creative interpretations of the American spirit and Colorado pride

Whether your entry is festive, historical, humorous, artistic, or community-focused, we invite you to help create a parade that reflects the pride, creativity, and connection that make Fountain Valley special.

Hey all, sorry for the late post. We evaluated the track after the recent rainfall and found damage caused by people riding (e-bikes or e-moto) on the track while it was wet, despite the posted signs asking everyone to stay off.

Unfortunately, we will be **cancelling this evening’s practice** .

We apologize for the late notice and appreciate everyone’s understanding. We’ll keep you posted on when the track is ready to ride again.

Thank you!

Good luck to all the riders attending this weekends State Finals!
