Well, I professionally train Tennessee Walking horses, but I instruct in pretty much any seat. The beauty of it is that two of these kids have ridden Tennessee Walking Horses to blue ribbons and I love how they are learning to ride all types.
The horse life is an adventure …… the more you learn the better you ride, then you’ll know which one is your pick and you’ll have the information to pursue your dream. In Colorado, we are without a Tennessee walking horse show circuit. We can only compete against trotting breeds and all breed shows with AQHA judges. Yes it makes us tougher, even though it’s frustrating. But in the end, everyone needs to see what a nice Tennessee Walking Horse moves like in the show ring!
