It was a great first day of the Cougar Lake Open. Fun Glow round starts at 8:30 tonight. We will have a short 9 hole loop set up. Bring your glow discs, tape, or lights!

You’ll notice something a little different next time you drive into the property. ✌️

PS The Disc Golf Dojo will be onsite starting tomorrow afternoon and will have all your dg needs covered from discs to bags and towels. We’re getting close to tournament weekend! Hope to see you out. Weather looks great! Don’t forget there is free primitive camping onsite starting tomorrow night. Glow golf and lots of other fun activities planned. If you like to disc golf this is your weekend at Cougar Lake!

🚨Breaking news🚨

The Cougar Lake Open next weekend may be the last chance you have to come play Cougar Lake DGC for the foreseeable future.

I have accepted a job offer that I cant pass up in Texas. It’s not permanent, however, will probably be a few year deal.

To be clear I’m not selling the property, but, the disc golf course may not be maintained and open while I am away. Still working on possible options to stay open. It’s a ton of work and my father would more than likely need help to keep it open. (He’s staying).

Soooo. That being said. I hope you will all come out next weekend and support us one last time.

I am in the process of talking to property management companies to lease the property as a possible Air BnB or long term rental. If you’re interested drop me a message.

Thank you all for the support over the years. You got us to #6 in the State of Arkansas this year and I feel like we were just getting started.

This is not the end. Only a temporary pause. We will come back bigger and better when I return.

Cougar Lake Open is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Lonsdale, Arkansas beginning May 30, 2026 and hosted by The Disc Golf Dojo.

We are 2 weeks away from our first PDGA B tier event. The Cougar Lake Open! We have a fun filled weekend planned on the #6 rated course in Arkansas with free camping (as early as Thursday night), glow rounds, putting games and more!

As always the The Disc Golf Dojo will be on-site with all your disc golf discs and accessories you need.
