I was able to TQ the Mod Late model and I’m starting in the 2nd spot behind CW driver Jason Burns in 10.5 Sprint! Excited for the mains!

Even though it was hot we had a blast and I had great runs in both classes finishing 2nd in Lm and taking home the win in Sprint!!!

As some of you already know, Bobby Bowe, owner and promoter of lil Indy RC Speedway, found out a few weeks ago that he has mouth cancer. What this means for now is 6+ weeks of treatments and driving to Charleston every week followed by an extensive surgery and recovery. We’re not sure yet how long that recovery will be but with medical bills coming in, bills from the track still coming every month, and travel expenses, Bobby and his family need all the help they can get. The idea was brought to me to do a trophy race benefitting Bobby and his family and with the help of RS Senter and Tyler Reimer this is where we landed.

I’d like to thank Rob Cutman with customworks, Dustin Malicoat with GFRP/hyperdrive, Brent Densford with Assault R/C, Scooter Allison with Papa Wi***es tire prep, and Richard Morton with MRSpeed tire preps for stepping up without hesitation when asked to support this. Anyone else who would like to help out will be added to the flyer.

My goal for this is to show Bobby how much we all appreciate everything he’s done and all the hours he has put in to advance the hobby. I know this is fairly short notice to make this race as big as I’d like to make it but I would like to get the proceeds to Bobby so he has one less thing to stress about. Please message me with any questions/concerns/suggestions you may have.

Round 2 is in the books ended up taking the win in Lm for the second heat my CustomWorks Rocket was super fast and consistent. Round 2 in Outlaw Sprint didn’t end up as well caught another car going backwards and ended up wrecked out of the race. There is still one more round tomorrow! Rc Products
