Hole 7 on the knoll suffered damage and we had to pull it for now. Working on a fix and I will move another basket so the hole is playable.

It's The Memorial Championship presented by Discraft week! Thank you to all the volunteers that helped set up the course yesterday at Fountain Park.

The event will be at Fountain Park Thursday, 1/16/25 thru Saturday, 1/18/25. The final round will be at Vista Del Camino Disc Golf Course in Scottsdale on Sunday, 1/19/25. Come on out and watch some of the best players in the game take on our local course!

We need volunteers to help set up the course for this year's The Memorial Championship presented by Discraft this Monday, 1/13/25, starting at 10:00am at the Fountain Park DGC. Meet at the East Parking Lot by hole #3's tee pad. Volunteers will earn plastic and lunch will be provided. Additionally, Spinners on the Green will have catered Volunteer Appreciation Party after the event. Fill out the Volunteer Form, comment below or contact Marty Coplea via FB Messenger. Thanks!

FYI: The #16 basket for The Memorial layout will be removed for a short time today 1/7/25 for repairs. I will move another basket to that position later this afternoon. Thank you for your understanding as we prepare for the best possible experience on our great course.

Fountain Festival of Fine Arts & Crafts is happening this Friday-Sunday here in Fountain Hills. There will be large crowds so expect some challenges if you're planning on playing the course. This is the 50th year of the festival and will have approx. 450 vendors/craftsmen from around the world. If you enjoy art, looking for gifts, additions for your home or business it will be worth your while. Most importantly please be courteous of all park/festival goers! I hope you all have a great weekend whatever you do!!!

The course at Fountain Hills will be closed for the 4th of July Celebration. Come on out and enjoy the celebration with live music, food trucks, and the fireworks starting at 9pm!!!

We are so happy to announce that Tom Osterdahl is taking over as the FHDGC President! Tom has a ton of experience in the sport and a passion for excellence that will be a great asset to the local disc golf community.

Thank you to Marty Coplea for his years of service as the Club President and the many hours he spent volunteering to maintain and improve our course. Marty will continue to be involved with the club as a Board Member.

Some more course maintenance just got completed. The damaged basket from hole #8 is now fixed and back out on the course. Thanks to Todd Mowen for his assistance in fixing the basket and to Spinners on the Green for donating a new basket pole. Additionally, the broken sleeve on hole #8 was removed by the Town of Fountain Hills, and Kevin Drossel installed a new sleeve for us.

All available baskets are back out on the course. We also moved a few baskets to some different pin positions to switch things up a bit. Big thanks to Darrin Posey for helping get them back out there for us!
