C-FC volleyball's Gina Guenther is ready to take on the collegiate stage next year, hooping it up a Rochester Community and Technical College - RCTC! Gina was the basketball team's starting center this year and the 5'10" baller is taking her skills to Rochester, MN! We are so proud of you Gina, you are going to do great things!

🤩 Onto the Collegiate Volleyball Level 🤩

C-FC volleyball is thrilled to root on Ashlyn Wnuk as she continues her volleyball career at Western Technical College next fall!

Ashlyn was a powerhouse outside hitter for the Pirates, recording over 300 kills! Her drive and athleticism will be missed next year, but the Cavs will be happy to have landed her! Keep those kills coming Ashlyn, we are proud of you!

🥳 Onto The Next Level 🥳

C-FC volleyball is so excited to cheer on Isabella Holzer as she continues her volleyball career next year playing for Western Technical College at the collegiate level!

Bella was a force out of the middle for the Pirates in her 3 varsity seasons, recording 400+ kills! Her leadership and electricity will be missed next season, but the Cavs are so lucky to have her! Do great things Bella, we are proud of you!

🗣 CALLING ALL YOUTH VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS 🗣

If your elementary aged child is interested in volleyball, check out the Saint Mary's University Volleyball Youth Volleyball Clinic. For 4 weeks, learn from SMU head coach Amber Zitzow as she helps teach skills and techniques to the younger volleyball generation.

This is a great local opportunity for the athletes of C-FC. One of our many reasons living near great college volleyball programs is a perk! See more info below. Please share so we can get exposure to this amazing event!

Our volleyball community lost a fantastic fan and person yesterday, our C Team coach Becki Weber’s husband, Jim.

Jim came to countless games and supported the Pirates in many sports, not just volleyball. We were always glad to see him in the stands and grateful for him, as he helped with the scoreboard at home games when no one else would. Thats just the kind of person Jim was. He also would help during volleyball fundraising events and during the end of season banquet. He will be incredibly missed.

We are thinking of Coach Becki and her boys at this time and sending them our thoughts and prayers from Pirate Nation.

The C-FC Math Team put on a volleyball fundraiser today, and had a total of 34 women that played! 👏

The day was filled with great games and our very own JV coach and Math teacher, Ms. Johnson’s team (Subtraction) came out on top! That wasn’t planned folks, we promise! 😉 The first place team made some money and walked away with the always fabulous PIErates shirts!

The second place team (addition) also came away with some money! Thank you to all those who came and thank you to the math team for having such a fun volleyball event! 🥳 you definitely put the FUN in fundraiser!

✨ Volleyball Banquet 2023 ✨

Last night we celebrated our student-athletes with awards, food and fun times! We had over 100 people attend, and we honored every single athlete! Additionally, we awarded our all-conference winners, Best Defense, Best Offense, Best Hitting Percentage, Best Serving Percentage, Most Improved and MVP. This was done for all 3 levels! Thank you to all who were able to attend, it was another successful banquet!

🏆 ALL-CONFERENCE SELECTIONS 🏆

These three Pirates were awarded all-conference last night and we couldn't be more proud of them! Their hard work paid off and we are proud to announce our winning Pirates!

🥇First Team All-Conference:

Sophomore Libero, Mackenzie Wenger - This is Mackenzie's second straight year being selected as first team. As a Freshman, she was just one of two to be awarded the honor. She dug her way into the C-FC record books this year, and it is great to see her accomplishments recognized at the Dairyland level.

Junior OH, Aubrey Smith - This is Aubrey's first time being nominated and being awarded with all-conference honors. She earned it with her outstanding season as an all-around player for C-FC, it is great to see her be recognized for her talents!

🥈Second Team All-Conference:

Senior MH, Bella Holzer - This is Bella's second year in a row earning all-conference honors. Last year Bella was nominated first team and this year she secures a spot as second team. Her ability to put the ball down when needed does not go unnoticed and she will surely be missed as she was a large part in the Pirate program!

Well done to these Pirates, and all of the C-FC crew as they went 8-1 in the Dairyland, taking 2nd place this year!
