Lincoln Dragon Boat Team Every year, our team competes internationally to expand our exposure and immerse ourselves in different cultures around the world through dragon boat.

Established in 1996, our dragon boat team has continued to be a respected presence within the student body of Abraham Lincoln High School, as well as the dragon boat community of the Bay Area. Our team consists of 100 members (four crews) making us, not only the largest organization in the school, but also one of the largest dragon boat teams in the entire Bay Area, and possibly California. Our te

am has won numerous championships in the past and currently holds the championship title in the 2016 Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival high school division. We have had the opportunity and privilege to represent our school and city in many different locations including the East Bay, Southern California, Canada, and for the first time this year, China.

For the first time in 2 years, this weekend, we brought 4 crews to the 2025 Northern California International Dragon Boat Festival. Continuing from a 29 year history of unwavering dedication and unchallenged excellence, our team has created a platform for youth to become both premier athletes and experienced leaders. Through discipline, hard work, and many sacrifices, we are proud to bring home 1st place medals from the Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office Youth A Championship and Youth Girls Championship! 🏆💪

Big thank you to the event organizers, .norcal, and sponsors for putting together another amazing festival! Thank you to all of the parents and friends who help make this experience possible for our team. Your help continues to fuel our fire! Traveling over 1000 miles, a group of Lincoln youth arrived in Vancouver, Canada, ready to paddle in the upcoming race. For these 24 rowers and 3 coaches, this has been a opportunity to display the hardwork years of experience builds up to. And on June 22nd, Lincoln Dragon Boat was awarded 3rd Place in the Junior Mixed A Division, an amazing result👏!!

These youth represent our core values of dedication, community, and respect. Not only did they commit to rigorous training, but they committed to the empowerment and wellbeing of their communities. And since 1996, we have been proud to provide this platform for youth.

Thank you to the event organizers and Lincoln community for keeping Dragon Boat a impactful resource for youth. Congrats to the teams who made it out for the Vancouver race. 🚣‍♀️
