Congratulations to the 18U PenCities Baseball team for winning the Joe DiMiggio State Championship in a 1-0 win over the Sacramento-River City on 8/6/19! This is the first time in history a San Mateo/Foster City team has won the state championship! Jack Warren was named State Tournament MVP and 4 other players were named to the All-Tournament team. Go PenCities!

The PenCities Baseball 16U select team won the Nor Cal Tournament Baseball (NCTB) 16U Open Division Battle of the Bay tournament over the 6/2-6/3/2019 weekend. The PenCities team beats teams Hit Club (Belmont) by a score of 10-7 in the first round of pool play, CA Bulldogs 2021(Cambell) by a score of 13-4 in the semi-finals, and the Bay Valley Trojans (Modesto) by a score of 9-6 in the Championship game.

Nikhil Godbole was the tournament Most Valuable Player hitting .545 over the weekend including 3 3B's in 3 games. Patrick Mori (.500, 1 2B), Daren Randolph (.455, 1 HR, 6 Runs, 7 RBI), Andrew Khau (.417), Daniel Geller(.400), and Kevin Sanchez (.400, 1 3B, 5 Runs) also hit over .400 for the weekend.

All pitchers threw great including Shayan Kothari (W, 7K), Peter Brownrigg (0.00 ERA), Jack Fitzgerald (W, 2.80, 3 K), Colin Trizuto (2 Holds), Kyle Seiben (Winner of championship game) and Patrick Mori (SV, 0.00 ERA, 9 K).

The 16U C**t 45's 2018 summer season came to an end last night with a 2-3 loss against South San Francisco in the Regional Tournament Semi-Finals. The team finished with an overall record of 20 wins and 10 losses and won the Peninsula C**t League Championship, Peninsula Memorial Day Tournament Champions, and had the top seed in the Peninsula C**t Regional Tournament. Daren Randolph led the team in offense with a .412 Batting average, Colby Stevens led the pitching staff with a 0.36 ERA, and Nikhil Godbole led the defense and finished the season with a 1.000 fielding percentage. Congratulations on the successful season C**t 45's!
