Stackhouse Guide Service Extraordinary Aleutian Cackling Goose hunting and excellent fishing targeting halibut, rockfish, and tuna of Northern California's remote shorelines.

Stackhouse Guide Service is a licensed and bonded guiding service with the California Department of Fish and Game. Jeff Stackhouse, owner and operator and Northern California native, has been an avid outdoors man and hunter for his entire life and recognized his passion early in life. As a result, upon completing high school, he decided to earn his education at the University of Idaho in Rangeland

Management (B.S.) and Wildlife Resources (B.S.). Upon completing his degrees, he chose to delve deeper into the sciences of grazing and game bird management where he earned an additional degree (M.S.) at North Dakota State University studying the relationship of agriculture and game birds. Companionship: Jeff's good bird dog "Bo" passed away recently, and left him with his energized replacement "Vern". Vern accompanies Jeff on most hunts, and is a well-natured beast, but still has some learning to do. As a result, Jeff gets a little more exercise in the goose blinds than he is used too, but Vern is sure to make sure no wounded birds get away and is good entertainment for all parties involved.
