🖤 Happy Father’s Day to all of our Fort Worth Cats dads! 🖤

What a great weekend spent doing what we love most, playing softball and making memories together at the ballfield. From early mornings and packed coolers to cheering from the stands and helping wherever needed, our Cats dads are always there for these girls.

Thank you for your support, encouragement, sacrifices, and for being some of our biggest fans every single game. We hope you enjoyed spending Father’s Day at the field surrounded by your softball family.

A special shoutout to Courtney for the awesome Dad Swag and helping make the day even more fun for our Cats dads!

🖤🤍🩶 Happy Father’s Day to all of our Fort Worth Cats Dads! 🩶🤍🖤

Today we celebrate the dads who haul the gear, warm up pitchers, catch endless buckets of balls, work long hours, drive countless miles, and still find the energy to cheer the loudest from the stands.

For our Father’s Day video, we asked the girls two simple questions:
What does your dad always say before you take the field?
What do you love and appreciate most about him?

Let’s just say the answers were everything we hoped for and more! And yes… we gave the girls permission to say one curse word for video purposes only. lol We figured Dad’s favorite pregame speech deserved to be quoted accurately!

The responses were funny, heartfelt, and a reminder of just how much these dads mean to their athletes. Behind every player is a dad who has sacrificed time, money, sleep, and probably a few truck tires traveling from field to field just to help make these memories possible.

Thank you, Cats Dads, for being coaches, catch partners, biggest fans, role models, and heroes to your girls. We appreciate everything you do for our team and our families.

🔥🐾 POOL GAME 3 MVP – KAMEA #99 🐾🔥

A huge shoutout to Kamea #99 for earning MVP honors in our third pool game of the tournament!

Kamea was a force at the plate, coming through with some big hits and helping spark the offense when we needed it most. But her impact didn’t stop there. Behind the plate, she was locked in all game long, doing an outstanding job handling the pitching staff, blocking balls, and shutting down the opposition with her strong defensive play.

Her hard work, toughness, and leadership as a catcher continue to make a difference every time she steps on the field. We are proud of the way she competed and represented the Cats today!

🔥🐾 MVP ALERT! 🐾🔥

Congratulations to Yoharis #43 on earning MVP honors in our second pool game of the tournament!

Yoharis made her presence known on both sides of the ball, coming up with big hits at the plate and putting together a stellar defensive performance behind the dish. Her leadership, hustle, and ability to control the game from the catcher position helped keep the Cats rolling all game long.

From clutch swings to locking things down defensively, Yoharis showed exactly what it means to be a difference-maker.

A huge shoutout to Karsyn #21 for earning MVP honors in our first pool game of the tournament!

KJ was an absolute force at the plate, coming through with a hit in every single at-bat and setting the tone for the Cats offense from start to finish. When her number was called, she delivered every time, helping keep the lineup rolling and putting constant pressure on the defense.

Consistency, confidence, and clutch hitting, that’s what MVP performances are made of!

This Father’s Day weekend, we’re not only playing for wins, we’re playing for all the dads, grandpas, stepdads, coaches, and father figures who spend countless hours in the stands, on the buckets, behind the fences, and on the road supporting these girls every step of the way.

Thank you for the early mornings, the long drives, the bucket talks, the extra reps, and the unconditional support. We appreciate everything you do for our players and our program.

🏆🐾 CHAMPIONS! 🐾🏆

The Fort Worth Cats finished the weekend the only way they know how—on top!

These girls battled through every game and put together an unbelievable performance, capturing the championship while allowing ZERO runs all weekend long. That’s right… not a single run crossed the plate against the Cats. An incredible team effort from our pitchers, catchers, and defense from start to finish.

A huge congratulations goes to Yoharis #43 for being named our Championship MVP! Behind the plate, she was a wall all weekend, leading the defense, controlling the game, and helping guide our pitching staff through a dominant championship run.

Championships are won with teamwork, hustle, and heart—and this group showed all three every inning of every game. We couldn’t be prouder of these girls!

All three of our pitchers have stepped into the circle this weekend and each one has thrown a NO-HITTER!

The hard work, dedication, and countless hours these girls put in when nobody is watching are paying off in a big way. Watching all three pitchers dominate and give our team a chance to win every time they take the ball has been incredible.

A no-hitter is a huge accomplishment. To have all three of our pitchers accomplish it in the same tournament weekend is something special.

We’re proud of these girls for trusting the process, competing with confidence, and showing what Fort Worth Cats softball is all about.

Landri #6 was absolutely dominant in the circle, throwing a NO-HITTER in our first bracket game and helping punch the Cats’ ticket to the championship game.

From the very first pitch, she attacked the zone, trusted her defense, and kept hitters guessing all game long. Performances like this don’t happen by accident—they come from countless hours of hard work, dedication, and determination.

Because of her lights-out performance, the Cats are headed to the SHIP and ready to battle for the championship… pending what Mother Nature decides to do.

What a comeback story for Maya #8!

After being sidelined for a month with an injury, Maya stepped back into the circle and delivered in a big way—throwing a NO-HITTER in Game 2 of the tournament!

A month away from the game can test any athlete, but Maya never stopped working, never stopped believing, and showed exactly what determination and resilience look like. To come back and dominate the circle the way she did is something special.

Welcome back, Maya. We’d say you didn’t miss a beat, but a no-hitter might actually be better than that!
