Short Stacks is not a typical youth program
It is intentional volleyball development for young athletes who want to learn the game the right way with experienced coaches, tons of meaningful reps, and an environment built to make kids love volleyball.

Not just another youth volleyball league.

Short Stacks was built to give young athletes the kind of coaching and foundation we wish more players had from the very beginning.

Athletes train with a former NCAA Division I head coach while learning the actual skills, movement and game concepts that prepare them for the next level of volleyball.

Separate age groups:
6–8 | 9–10 | 11–12

6 Saturday training sessions
Small group coaching
Passing, setting, serving + attacking
Small-sided game play
Official Short Stacks jersey
Short Stacks Championship to finish the season🔥

Sept. 12 – Oct. 24 | Fort Worth

We intentionally keep the groups small so athletes get real coaching and real reps and we only have a few spots remaining in each age group.

Had a blast getting out to watch so many current and former athletes compete, and even coach, at the MISD varsity Tournament!

High school season is such a special time. Different jerseys, different programs, same athletes we’ve been fortunate enough to pour into along the way. Watching them compete with confidence, represent their schools with pride, and continue growing is what it’s all about.

Win or lose, I’ll always love showing up, supporting them, and watching them compete. Just a bit more fun when they win

So much talent in this area of the metroplex, and beyond, and the future is bright. Keep Stacking Days y’all’!

Short Stacks is where young players come to learn the game, build confidence, compete hard and have a seriously good time doing it.

Brand new? Perfect.
Already has some game? Even better.

Our coaches meet each athlete where she is, help her level up and make sure the gym still feels like the best part of her week.

Some of the best volleyball players in the Classes of 2028, 2029 and 2030!

Today, these athletes played high level volleyball while also working on something much bigger than themselves: confidence, leadership and teamwork.

Confidence isn’t selfish, and neither is being a great teammate. I’m confident that anyone lucky enough to share a gym with one of these athletes is better because they’re in it.

So proud of the way this group competed, encouraged one another and showed up today.

SHORT STACKS IS OFFICIALLY HERE.

Registration is now open for our new youth volleyball development program for athletes ages 6–12!

Over seven Saturdays, athletes will build confidence, develop strong fundamentals and grow their love for the game through age-specific training, at-home challenges and a final championship tournament.

Every athlete will also receive a Short Stacks jersey to wear on tournament day.

September 12–October 24

Inaugural Stack Signing Day. 💜🧡

Hundreds of laughs. High fives. New friendships. Photos. Two teams, one vision.

Stack was built for families who want more. A place where athletes can chase excellence, while genuinely enjoying the journey.

Feeling incredibly grateful to be surrounded by these athletes, families, coaches, and people who believed in this vision from day one. The foundation is being built, and this is only the beginning.

Let’s stack the days.

Elite teams.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what makes them.

Is it the leader? The culture? The talent?

Honestly, it’s all of those things.

But one thing I know for certain is that elite teams create the conditions for people to be themselves the best version of themselves.

For those who have been lucky enough to be a part of a truly high-performing team, you know it’s almost impossible to replace. It’s addictive.

The group pushes you.

You fail. You succeed. You struggle. You win. You lose. You cry. You laugh.

All as a unit.

And somewhere in that process, you become the version of yourself you always knew existed, but had yet to unlock.

The people in these programs earn that. Through early mornings, hard conversations, difficult lessons, and most of all, by being vulnerable enough to let their light shine.

Take a look at the athletes in this photo. Individuals all shining in their own way, yet connected by a common goal.

That’s the magic of elite teams.

They don’t erase individuality, they amplify it in service of something bigger than themselves.

Sometimes we’re most at home when we’re on the court.

Huge shoutout to this team at WT. They taught me far more than I ever taught them.
