10 things nobody tells you about training as a new mom. πΌ
Julie learned every one of these the hard way β building a plan that survived two pregnancies, two toddlers, and life as a stay-at-home mom.
1. Your "old routine" is gone, and that's okay β you need a new one, not the same one.
2. Naptime workouts count just as much as an hour at the gym.
3. Your body just did something incredible. It deserves patience, not punishment.
4. The aches from carrying a toddler are real β and trainable, not just something to accept.
5. A home gym can absolutely count as "real" training.
6. Some days the win is just showing up for 10 minutes.
7. Your plan needs to survive a second pregnancy too, not just the first one.
8. The right coach adjusts around your life instead of asking you to rearrange it.
9. Community matters more than you'd expect β other moms get it in a way no one else does.
10. "Getting your body back" isn't the goal. Building a stronger one is.
"FFT is a community. You get to know the other members, and the staff are very knowledgeable and supportive. I'm not only coming in for workouts β I'm learning things I can use to be healthier day to day." β Julie
