I started noticing fat in places I never had body fat before! At the age of 22 I began walking everyday; I started at 15 minutes a day and increased my time as I felt my energy level go up. There were days I just wanted to come home and sit on the couch in front of the tv or take a nap after work. I've got to do this! I'm tired of feeling tired and lazy and FAT! I had gone from a mere 110lbs out o
f high school to about 165 lbs at only 22 years old! It took me several months but simply by walking and eating right I lost 35 lbs! I kept it off for the most part until I had my first child. I needed to lose about 15 lbs to get back to my starting weight pre-pregnancy. So i enlisted in a home DVD called Turbo Jam and joined an online contest with other new moms to win $50 in 90 days! So i was on a mission! The first month or so was a warm-up phase. Then after 30 days I noticed other ladies were losing weight so I kicked it into high gear and even though I didn't win, I felt like a winner by losing MORE than my previous weight. At the age of 30 I purchased P90X. Boy did that kick my butt! I noticed that the newness of this program challenged me. It incorporated strength training, something I had never done before. I was noticing muscles in my legs, bigger calves , well defined shoulders, abs and even biceps!!! Not only did I enjoy the variety of P90X but the fact that this was changing my body in ways I had never seen. I was addicted for about 2 years. Then I started designing my own routine in which I hit the gym (first time ever!) 3 Xs a week for strength training and then workout videos at home for my cardio. I kept eating healthy and stayed at an average healthy weight that Ive been consistent with for years now! Ive been helping others ever since, and now in January of 2022, Ive decide to help more people by coaching completely virtual!
