Can we take a moment to recognize our incredible parent volunteers?

Every successful meet, every swimmer's race, every ribbon handed out, and every smooth-running event happens because parents step up and make it happen. We are so grateful for the time, energy, and dedication you've given to our team this season.

Thank you for helping create such a special experience for our swimmers. Your support truly keeps the Heritage Hurricanes moving forward.

As we get ready for our home meet, we still have a couple volunteer opportunities available:

If you'd like to claim one of these spots, head to the GoMotion app—the same place you declare your swimmers.

Remember, volunteers are the only parents permitted on the pool deck during meets, so don't wait too long. These remaining spots are first come, first serve!

🏊‍♀️ We still need a few volunteers to help make our meet a success!

Current openings:
✅ 1 timer for the first half of the meet
✅ 5 timers for the second half of the meet

If you've never timed before, don't worry, it's incredibly easy! There is a timer meeting before the meet where everything is explained, and you'll be paired with another timer in your lane. Zero stress.

And honestly? Timing is the BEST seat in the house. You get a front-row view of every finish and a chance to cheer on swimmers up close as they race to the wall.

We have exciting news, Hurricanes!! 🌀

OUR HOME MEETS WILL BE VERY SPECIAL AND SWEET THIS YEAR! 🍦🍧

We will have the amazing “Sugar and Sunshine” ice cream truck and a delicious Mexican food truck at both home meets!

Come join us for a great morning of swimming, food, and COMMUNITY SPIRIT! 😍🤗

🚨 RED ALERT: TIMER SHORTAGE 🚨

Hurricanes Families, we still need timers for the second half of Monday's meet!

Without timers, we cannot run the meet.

Timing is easy, you'll have one of the best seats on the pool deck, and you'll get a front-row view of your swimmer finishing their races.

Hurricanes Families – We Still Need Timers!

We are still looking for volunteers to fill our timer positions for the second half of Monday's home meet.

Here's the reality: without timers, we cannot run the swim meet. Every lane must have a timer, and if we don't have enough volunteers, the meet cannot proceed as scheduled.

The good news? Timing is one of the easiest volunteer jobs and offers some of the best seats on the pool deck! You'll have a front-row view of the action and get to watch swimmers touch the wall and finish their races. And It won't take away from watching your swimmer compete! In fact, you'll be closer to the action than most spectators (only active volunteers are allowed on the pool deck).

If you've been thinking about volunteering but weren't sure where to start, timing is a great first role. We will show you everything you need to know. You'll be a pro within 2 minutes, we promise.

Hurricanes Families: We Still Need Volunteers for Monday's Away Meet!

The Hurricanes are powered entirely by volunteers, and without parent volunteers, we simply aren't able to run our meets.

We still have a few important spots that need to be filled:

✅ Timers (Breaststroke through End): 6 spots
✅ Ready Bench: 2 spots
✅ Away Meet Clean-Up: 1 spot

If you've never volunteered before, please don't let that stop you! Every role has experienced parents available to help, and we'll walk you through everything. Most parents find it's much easier than it looks and it's a great way to meet other swim families while supporting the team.

Whether you've volunteered many times or this would be your first meet, we'd greatly appreciate your help. Every spot filled helps ensure our swimmers have a successful meet experience.
