For Andy, the Ryan Family YMCA is more than a workplace. It’s home, a training facility, and a community that continues to encourage him to reach his full potential. For the past year, Andy has worked and trained at the Ryan Family YMCA, where he has embraced the opportunity to utilize our facilities and programs while pursuing his passion for swimming. An avid swimmer and lover of open-water competitions, Andy continually challenges himself to set new goals and push beyond his limits.
On August 2, Andy competed in the Oceanman Cozumel 10th Anniversary 5K Open Water Race in Cozumel, Mexico. His dedication and hard work paid off! He earned a slot to compete in the Oceanman World Championships in Miches, Dominican Republic, this November.
As he prepares for this incredible opportunity, Andy credits the Ryan Family YMCA staff and community for their support and encouragement. “I have a deep sense of gratitude for the Ryan Family YMCA staff and community for supporting and encouraging me as I prepare for Oceanman Worlds in November.”
Andy’s story is a wonderful example of **Growing Together** in action. The Y is a place where employees and members alike can find opportunities to grow, pursue their passions, and discover what they are capable of achieving.
