Haven’t done a throwback in a minute...a few weeks out in 2017 with me training like my life depended on it. Honestly that’s how I have approached any goal since I was a child. Over the years I’ve learned to use a bit more wisdom but training scared was never a thing for me. Being too cautious and getting caught up in one approach a.k.a.”form police” will turn your training into simple exercise with no real growth/gains. Use your brain, be intuitive but be all in if you want to move forward in your physical goals⚔️

Because I’ve always been teased about my walk😂🤷‍♀️ On a serious note though...This season has been tremendously difficult for most and I have been so inspired watching others rise above their current situations and continue to stick to their goals no matter the current climate in our world. I set a goal with my coach really just to stay sane and lead by example to my clients. Accountability and staying in the mindset where I am always looking to grow physically,emotionally and spiritually is an anchor no matter what life brings my way🌊

Self discipline comes in many forms...I was practicing it in an extreme form to achieve this look. Nowadays learning to not strive for perfection but sustainability can be just as difficult as when I was in prep. Many of my clients are former competitors and they struggle with the same and I constantly remind them we are in this together and I understand the struggle. Some days the balance comes easily and then other days it can be a battle with constant internal criticism. I find it gets easier as I balance my life with business and relationships and no longer obsess over the stage. One day at a time🦋
