Ruth Walker spring has a challenging cave to explore, probably not regarded by most as a tourist cave, but it’s pretty cool nonetheless. We started looking at this spring because it’s located in the mid-Suwannee river basin and has many challenges from land and water usage.

Towards the end of a dive yesterday I spotted a tiny, brightly colored critter. I tried to snap a photo but my GoPro appeared to immediately die, so once back on board I made a quick sketch to help jog my memory. This morning I found my camera had recorded one frame of video with the tiny animal, just enough to identify it.
