Each Eversman custom knife, sword, tomahawk, and ax is hand ground, forge hardened, quenched in premium quench oil, triple tempered, and blued by hand (multiple layers to prevent corrosion). Every blade is extensively tested on hard earth, railroad ties, gravel, trees (when large enough). Blades are stabbed into railroad ties at multiple angles to test for tip strength, edges are cut and rolled on

the railroad ties to check the strength of cutting edges and tip. Also placed in slots within ties to be pulled on in both directions to test overall flexibility and hit with a wood mallet for testing of shock absorption. In addition to the tests previously mentioned, each throwing knife and throwing tomahawk are thrown at a tree multiple times since they are designed to be thrown. If blades pass full battery of tests then they are cleaned up and blued by hand for protection against corrosion. We use a variety of high carbon steels; just to name a few (1075, 1080, 1095, O1 tool steel, and 5160). Each custom piece is full tang or full profile tang, fully functional and designed for a lifetime of hard use. Each Eversman sheath is made from premium leather that has been hand punched, stitched, and dyed from 7-10 ounce cowhide. Water based dyes are used, as they do not strip the bluing from the blades allowing for storage within sheath to protect from corrosion. Eversman Custom Knives, Swords, Axes, Tomahawks, and Sheaths are proudly Made In The USA with premium materials and are guaranteed for life (does not cover intentional abuse for liability purposes).
