"Nothing is going to be given. You’ve got to EARN IT.” 💯

Long before Harold Mack became a college football player, there was a 9-year-old kid who missed a tackle…and barely saw the field again that season.

He could’ve walked away.

Instead, it motivated him.

“I need to work at it. I need to focus and get right.”

The next season?

Harold became the best player on his team.

In Part 1 of The Separation Podcast, Harold sits down with Dre Muhammad and takes us back to where his journey started — from Metro Football and Wayne High School to earning the opportunity to play at Eastern Michigan.

But this story is bigger than football.

It’s about a mother working two jobs while still making sure her son got to practice.

It’s about family members recognizing Harold’s potential and investing in his future.

And now, it’s about Harold becoming the example his younger siblings can follow.

You want the opportunity? Go earn it.

🎥 This is only Part 1.

Talent gets you noticed. Learning how to WORK changes everything. 💯

Jaydin Haller has confidence.

He has talent.

And he has BIG goals.

But in Part 1 of his conversation with Dre Muhammad on The Separation Podcast, Jaydin admits something most young athletes won’t:

I was coming to Traction every day, but I wasn’t giving 100%. I was going 80, 90. I never really seen what it really was to work.”

That realization is changing him.

From struggling to wake up for 5 A.M. workouts to watching his friends receive college offers, competing at camps, pushing through conditioning and learning how to give everything he has — Jaydin is beginning to understand what chasing greatness actually requires.

And he’s learning these lessons BEFORE he even enters high school.

The talent is there.

The confidence is there.

Now comes the WORK.

🎥 This is only Part 1 of Jaydin Haller’s journey.

Even at the highest level, there are hard days.

In a powerful conversation with Alice Jordan, M.S.Ed., Director of the Behavioral Health & Family Studies Institute at Purdue Fort Wayne, NFL offensive lineman Marcus Bryant opens up about navigating difficult moments, leaning on his support system, and having the courage to talk about what he’s going through.

“It’s okay not to be okay.”

Success doesn’t make you immune to struggle. Strength isn’t keeping everything inside—it’s knowing when to lean on the people around you.

“My process was slow… and I still ended up playing at the level I am.”

Everybody wants the opportunity.

Not everybody is prepared to keep working when the opportunity isn’t showing up yet.

For Kaden Hurst, the recruiting process tested more than his talent — it tested his belief in himself.

He watched athletes around him receive offers. He questioned when his opportunity would come. He wondered if he was doing enough.

But he kept working.

5 A.M. sessions. Two-a-days. Sometimes three workouts in a day.

Then the door finally opened.

In Part 1 of The Separation Podcast, Kaden sits down with Dre Muhammad to talk about his journey to Ohio, battling through injuries, growing into a young man and learning one of the biggest lessons of his football journey:

Your process doesn’t have to look like everybody else’s process.

Fast or slow — keep stacking the days.

🎥 This is only Part 1.

Sometimes your biggest opportunity isn’t where you originally thought it would be. 🏀➡️🏈

For most of his life, Jalen Williams saw himself as a basketball player.

Basketball was the plan.

Then something changed.

At 6'5"–6'6", Jalen began to realize that while there are plenty of athletes his size on a basketball court, his combination of size and athleticism could make him DIFFERENT on a football field.

There was only one problem…

He was still learning how to play the game.

In Part 1 of **The Separation Podcast**, Jalen sits down with Dre Muhammad and talks about making the difficult decision to walk away from something familiar, starting over in football, developing confidence and trusting the people around him to help accelerate the process.

He didn’t have years to figure it out.

He had to develop — FAST.

And that decision ultimately opened a completely different door for his future.

🎥 This is only Part 1 of Jalen’s story.

“A lot of people don’t really know my story.”

People know Brauntae Johnson the football player.

They know the talent. The highlights. The success.

But they may not know what it took to get there.

In Part 1 of his conversation with Dre Muhammad on The Separation Podcast, Brauntae opens up about growing up in Fort Wayne, competing against his older brothers, discovering his dream of playing at Notre Dame as a third grader — and the struggles his family experienced behind the scenes.

There were times his family lived in shelters.

There were things he wanted that his mother simply couldn’t provide.

But instead of allowing those circumstances to define him, Brauntae watched his mother continuously find a way.

And that became his motivation.

The player you see today was built by the things you didn’t see.

🎥 This is only Part 1 of Brauntae’s story.

🚨 560 POUNDS AS A TRUE FRESHMAN.

Brock Schott didn’t get to Miami and slow down — he went to work.

In Part 1 of his conversation with Dre Muhammad on The Separation Podcast, Brock talks about breaking the Miami tight end squat record, the work ethic his father instilled in him at an early age, his development at Traction, and what he quickly learned about competing at the college level.

One of the biggest lessons?
Getting recruited is one thing. Earning your spot once you get there is another.

Brock’s journey is a reminder that your stars, offers and high school accomplishments might get you through the door — but your WORK determines what happens next.

🎥 This is only part of the conversation.
