First Clinic of the summer!!! Ever wondered what we do at our back handspring clinics? In order to achieve a back handspring, connecting the round-off to the handspring, multiple back handsprings, etc. athletes must be able to understand the mechanics, shapes, timing and different pieces of the back handspring puzzle.

At clinics we use a demonstration tool to show how the skill is broken down from beginning to end. You will see many different drills that break down the skill to reinforce the correct shapes needed to be able connect it all together to perform and perfect a great back handspring!

Our next clinic is this Saturday, call or come by the front office to pre-sign up your gymnast 🙂

On behalf of the entire staff at Emerald City Gymnastics, we'd like to thank everyone who came out and supported their athletes this weekend as they competed in our annual Spring Spectacular Tumbling Meet. Not only were you supporting your athletes, but also a gym that has been serving the gymnastics community in FWB for 34 years. We appreciate each and every one of you 💜

We are so close to the Spring Spectacular and the end of the 2025-2026 class year. If you haven't already, be sure to confirm your summer schedule if you want your athlete to continue classes. Remember, all athletes not confirmed will be dropped at the end of May.

Monday April 27th starts confirmation for currently enrolled students only. No additional registration fee required, however you must confirm your summer schedule with the front office or your student will be dropped May 23rd at the conclusion of the class year.
