It’s been a week since the final whistle, and honestly… there are still so many emotions running through my heart.
This season was special. Not just because of the wins, the playoff run, or making it all the way to the Final Four again. It was special because of the brotherhood, the sacrifice, the early mornings, the long practices, and the belief these boys had in each other when no one else saw what we saw.
To our seniors — thank you. Thank you for the leadership, the passion, and the standard you set for this program. You carried this team with pride and represented our school the right way every single day. Your impact goes far beyond the field, and the foundation you’ve left will be felt for years to come. It’s never easy saying goodbye, but I’m beyond grateful I got to coach you and be part of your journey.
To the rest of this team — I couldn’t be more proud. You fought through adversity, you trusted each other, and you gave everything you had for that badge on your chest. Seasons like this don’t happen without heart, and this group had more heart than anyone.
Losing the way we did will always hurt. Penalty kicks are cruel. But what this team accomplished will never be defined by that moment. It will be defined by the fight, the resilience, and the memories we built together along the way.
This team gave our community something to believe in again. And for that, I’m forever thankful.
Once a Viking, always a Viking. ❤️💙
