"The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand."-Vince Lombardi

This year Valliant added a weightlifting hour which has seen tremendous success with over 50 students in the hour we are looking at adding more weightlifting classes next year (or a bigger weightroom). Any student that was able to complete our powerlifting portion of the training year was able to add on average 50-75 lbs in all major lifts and in some cases even over 100. I am very proud of all the students that has decided to make every day a grind by joining the class to push themselves out of their comfort zone.
Along with our new weights class we have also started a girls powerlifting team. Both JH, HS boys and girls teams earned themselves plenty of hardware this year through the invitational powerlifting meets. I am proud of all three teams for their dedication, hardwork, and competitive spirits!

To get stronger takes an everyday commitment not only on the days you feel good or only when you feel like it. It takes EVERYDAY to become the winner you want to be. Rome wasn't built in a day, but they worked on it every day. Let's continue to build strength, speed, and camaraderie by having even more students take the plunge that will not only benifit all Valliant sports but will show students how to continue their fitness goals after high school.

I will post all state qualifiers when all results from this weeks regionals meets have been posted.

It is a great day to be a Bulldog!
