Dear Members:

We are happy to inform you that Nicolas Sabbatini has joined our team as Head Tennis Professional at the Fort Smith Athletic Club and is now available for private tennis and pickleball instruction for our members AND GUESTS! Several of you have already reached out to let us know how much you appreciate his expert instruction and the ability to have your game's strengths and weaknesses professionally examined by a fresh set of eyes.

Nicolas comes from Buenos Aires, Argentina where he enjoyed a successful junior tennis career; nationally reaching the #3 ranking in singles and #1 rankings in doubles. He also competed internationally and later represented Auburn University at Montgomery, where he reached the National Championship Finals 3 years in a row.

Since earning his Masters in 2001, Nicolas has worked with tennis players of all ages and levels. He has previously taught at the Chris Evert Academy and most recently directed the tennis program at The Tumble Brook Country Club in Bloomfield, CT.

Consequently, Nicolas has accumulated a vast amount of teaching experience; from teaching players who were being introduced to the sport for the first time to coaching professional tennis players such as Kristina Brandi, Alexandra Panova, Eric Nunez, Megan Levy, and Tatiana Golovin.

That’s all folks! 🎉 Mixed Doubles Day 3 of the Fort Smith Open is complete! Thank you to the players first and foremost, our sponsors Jigsaw, Franklin Pickleball, Pickleball Central, our vendors, the army of volunteers, and last but not least Cody Kent, Tom Whitson, and our FSAC staff that pulled long hours to make sure everyone was well taken care of all weekend during the event.
