In 2005, Kuk Sool Won of the River Valley began serving the city of Fort Smith, Arkansas and other surrounding communities, by offering quality martial art instruction and training. Our vision is to build a more healthy and safe community by helping people get in shape, teaching smart defense and to instill the life skills and character of a true martial artist by upholding important values like c

ourtesy, patience, respect, self control and integrity. Kuk Sool will also help you to achieve self-discipline, high self-esteem, a positive outlook, a spirit of constant improvement, and an attitude of humility that refuses to give up. These values and life skills will lead to remarkable improvements in academics, careers, and relationships, literally making a better community one black belt at a time.

Attention students! A great training opportunity is coming up on Sunday, June 28. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn skills from our guest masters at our very own dojang!

The Seminar is open to all ranks ages 12 & up or by invitation. After the seminar we will continue with the workshop for Black Belts. The Seminar costs $60 to attend, or $40 if you participated in the South Central Tournament on June 27. The workshop costs $75, or $55 if you a participated in the tournament, and it includes the seminar.

It’s almost time for the South Central Tournament! 🤩
Here are some steps to remember so that you are prepared the day of tournament:

⏰ 1. Know when your competition is and be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior.

👥 2. Know when your techniques partner's competition is if they are in a different division/competition than you. Please stay for their entire competition in case there is a tie!

🥋 3. Make sure you've gathered your entire uniform, including jacket and belt, as it is required to compete.

🥊 4. Make sure to gather all of your sparring gear, including your mouthpiece and supporter. You need all of your gear to compete in sparring!

🫶 5. Remember to have fun! Competition is a great chance to show off what you've learned and make new friends!
