Some days are about playing a round of golf.
Some days are about winning a prize.
And then there are days that are about something so much bigger than ourselves.

Sunday, September 20th is one of those days. ⛳️

We’re coming together for the 1st Annual Miracle for Macy Golf Tournament to support an incredible 12-year-old girl, Macy Hornbuckle, who is living with TME163 Hypomyelinating Leukodystrophy.

Macy’s journey is one that no child should have to face, but through every challenge, she continues to remind us what courage, strength, and hope look like. 💕

This tournament is about more than 18 holes. It’s about surrounding Macy and her family with a community that says:

“You are not alone. We see you. We believe in you. And we’re going to help you every step of the way.”

Funds raised will help provide Macy with a wheelchair-accessible mobility van, as well as support for her lifelong care and future needs.

Whether you’re a golfer, a sponsor, a volunteer, or simply someone who wants to help, you have a place in this miracle.

Because when a community comes together, small acts of kindness become something much bigger. A round of golf becomes hope. A sponsorship becomes opportunity. A donation becomes a little more freedom for a little girl who deserves every chance to experience life to the fullest.

The heat is sticking around, with temperatures reaching the upper 90s to 100° and feels-like temperatures as warm as 104°. It's important to take care of yourself while enjoying your round.

💧 Stay hydrated! We do not have water stations out on the course, but cold beverages are available inside the clubhouse, conveniently located between Hole 1 and Hole 10. Make a quick stop to grab a drink before heading back out for the back nine!

A few reminders for playing in the heat:

🥤 Drink plenty of fluids throughout your round. Don't wait until you're thirsty.
🧢 Wear a hat and light, breathable clothing.
☀️ Use sunscreen and reapply as needed.
⏰ Consider playing earlier in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are more manageable.
🛑 If you start feeling dizzy, weak, nauseous, or unusually fatigued, stop playing and cool down.

Friendly Reminder: Today is September 1st! Our first tee times are not until 8 AM.

Reminder: Red Tee Box on Hole 7 is still closed while it heals. Grounds crew have evened it out and replaced the sod. It still needs time to heal. We have placed barriers on it's entrance. Red tees are on gold tee box

What are our chances the skies stay clear for the lunar eclipse Friday, August 28th, 2026 at 11:12PM? According to NWS, a 20% sky coverage predicted at this time.
Temperatures around average today will warm well into the 90s this weekend. Heat index values will range from 100 to 105 degrees by Sunday afternoon. Most locations stay dry through the weekend.
