CONGRATULATIONS to our September Student of the Month — Sophia LaSala! 💕👏🙌

She has been working so hard for this, and she earned it! Sophia has made tremendous improvements in her Lil’ Tigers class and at Fight Nights. She even helps teach our Lil’ Tigers classes at preschools!

Most impressive was her recent competition. She has fought through her nerves to compete in-house before, but Sophia also battles sensory challenges that most people don’t know about, making competing even harder for her. She decided she wanted to compete at a big tournament, practiced every day, faced those challenges head-on, and did absolutely amazing!

Her confidence has skyrocketed. She is naturally athletic, determined, and we know she will accomplish anything she sets her mind to.

Watching her grow from crawling around on the mats to becoming a leader in her classes at just 3 years old has been astounding. ❤️

She loves her dojo family more than anyone knows, and we are so thankful for how much all of your kids love her right back! She is the best dojo mascot, after all. 🥋💕

LaSala’s Dojo is now a Direct Pay Provider with Step Up For Students!

That means eligible families can use their Step Up Scholarship funds toward monthly martial arts dues through EMA—without having to pay us out of pocket first and wait for reimbursement. 🙌
