When it comes to discipline, what’s your biggest struggle right now?

Is it consistency in workouts?
Sticking to your nutrition plan?
Waking up early?
Staying focused in your faith?

Discipline isn’t built in comfort. It's built in the daily grind. It’s built in daily choices. Small ones. Repeated.

Be real in the comments. What’s the battle right now? 👇

Officially kicked off the Discipleship Pathway this morning at

How you start your morning sets the pace for your day. Starting with discipleship time, some Jiu-Jitsu and some work in the weight room helps ensures I have no lazy Saturdays and helps me prevent breaking the chain in my habits and disciplines.

Having these mornings helps me set the pace for my week ahead too. Setting the tone for the week.

Can waking up early to get to the gym be hard?
Sure.
Is it worth it to have these types of mornings?
Absolutely!

Can't wait to see this group grow as we continue down the path.

Be honest… do you stretch after workouts or nah?

Are you the type to cool down and take care of your body…
or do you finish your last set and head straight for the door? 👀

No judgment. Just curious.

Stretching helps with mobility, recovery, and staying in the game longer. The goal isn’t just to train hard. It’s to keep training for years.

Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.- Proverbs 12:25 ESV

An anxious heart is a heavy burden to carry.
It drains your strength and clouds your focus.

Never underestimate the power of a good word.

Encouragement lifts what anxiety tries to press down.

Be the voice that brings life.
And don’t be afraid to receive it when you need it too.

I've been disappointed with fun protein flavors before and I'll disappointed with them again.

Not the case with Mölk Fruity Cereal.

If you were to pour it into a bowl, you could easily convince yourself you have just finished eating a bowl of fruity pebbles.

It was delicious and I look forward to enjoying more in the future.

My view last night as I prepped to lead a Bible study this morning.

Just like your physical fitness, your Spiritual fitness doesn't progess if you don't put the work in.

And much like leading a group through a workout, leading a group through a Bible study take time, preparation and rehearsal. It's hard to lead someone if you haven't been there yourself.

Imagine teaching someone to deadlift or do a Turkish Get Up if you've never done it, or worse, even seen it done...

Physical and Spiritual fitness are both important and they play into one another.

Find the balance and put work into both.

Stay fit.

We are looking forward to starting tue Discipleship Pathway at our next meeting at

Do you prefer lifting weights or cardio? 🏋️‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Or have you found a way to balance the two with a hybrid approach to your training?

One of my generalized fitness goals has always been to run faster than the lifters and lift heavier than the runners. Not for the sake of competing with either group, but because I want to stay well-rounded.

These days, my training is mostly centered around longevity and durability for Jiu-Jitsu. I want the strength to apply pressure, the conditioning to keep going, and a body that holds up for years to come.

There is no single “right” way to train, but having a clear focus helps guide how you show up each week.

What about you? Do you lean more toward strength training, cardio, or a hybrid style? If you balance both, what does that look like for you right now?

Most people finish Jiu-Jitsu and head home.

The ones who want a different gear go to the weights.

Strength shows up in the scramble.
Strength keeps your posture from breaking.
Strength wins the exchanges when both of you are exhausted.

Anyone can train when they feel good.
Serious athletes learn to perform when they don’t.

Do hard things while you are tired.
That is where uncommon grapplers are built.

Finish the rolls. Hit the weights. Separate yourself.

A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps. - Proverbs 16:9 NKJV

You can make the plan.
Set the goals.
Chart the course.

But the Lord directs the steps.

Hold your plans with open hands.
God often leads where we didn’t intend to go,
but always where we need to be.

Trust His direction more than your blueprint.
