I just wanted to give an update regarding my family and Billiard Bill’s Custom Cue & Repair and Lister Cues.
We have had a month of chaos and stress around here including back to back hurricanes, kids being in and out of their schools, a daughter that broke her arm (unrelated) as well as power and internet outages. We here in Ft Myers really lucked out on the last hurricane and only had some very minor damage to our home and we are back to normal for the most part. Unfortunately the majority of Florida’s west coast and barrier islands took the brunt from Naples to Panama City which will take years to recover from.
We are back in the shop with my regular hours Monday-Thursday 8:30am-3:00pm so please call or text to make an appointment. I’m available by phone (239) 823-0408 during these hours and some outside of that as well but texting works very well as I’m working with equipment many times and can not answer. We will be closed for 2-3 weeks beginning 11/22-12/16 due to a large remodel we are doing at my home and shop. We still have loads of fine cues on my website www.billiardbills.com as well.
Super Billiards Expo update: I have started a dozen cues for SBE which is April 10-13, 2025 in Valley Forge PA and will be attending again as a vendor. I will have my own booth space as usual and I’m hoping to find a great location and I look forward to seeing you all there!
I will be slowing down with accepting custom build orders and already have started. This is so I can have time to start some new work finally with half/short spliced points in my cues as well as update my shop with some new equipment. I already have a custom made adjustable taper bar we are working on. I’m upgrading my bandsaw as well as purchased a custom matched to my home shed that is 10’x16’ permanent structure on my property to free up space in my shop and house which is to be delivered Friday.
I am taking orders on custom extensions and mainly shafts in premium maple $249, premium kielwood $349 as well as purpleheart for break/jump shafts only $249. I simply take a $50 deposit and I will have them ready to ship in 2-4 weeks after ordering. I stock a few hundred of these blanks at all times and they are the best maple you can buy and are from Canada. I do still have a few old growth shafts left as well.
I am available for repairs of almost any cue or refinish jobs (mainly on my own cues) that are already completed. I am now stocking G2 layered tips as well as the ones I have had for years that are tried and true including Kamui, black non clear, Precision Layered tips, UltraSkin Fire, Samsara, Bulletproof as well as Le Pro and Triangle tips. Tips are $25-$40 installed and wraps are $60 for Irish linen and $150 for leather wraps which I stock around 100 of in various colors and prints. I do still have some elephant ear wraps ONLY for installs and they start at $250 for a 2nd and go to $350 for premium elephant ear. I also have some new materials like Hydex ferrules and another 17 pounds of “natural” ferrule material for FL residents where I can legally tool it for you.
