Our guys are soaking up world-class knowledge from Olympic and NCAA legends and putting it straight to work on the mats.
The sessions are grueling and the room is a pressure cooker, but our kids are adjusting to the pace and getting sharper with every single rep. They are giving everything they’ve got out here to represent Fort Myers!
Time to rest, recover, and do it again tomorrow.

First full day at Oklahoma State is complete! There are over 300 of the best wrestlers from across the country in this arena, but our 12 Florida kids showed up ready and wrestled incredibly well.
Today we soaked up world-class technique from David Taylor, Wyatt Hendrickson, Jax Forrest, and Landon Robideau.

GOAL MET! We are officially Oklahoma bound!

Thanks to our incredible wrestling family and community partners, we officially hit our fundraising goal! Because of your generosity, 12 of our dedicated wrestlers are heading to the elite Oklahoma State University summer camp this week.

Our athletes have been out in the Fort Myers community visiting local businesses and neighbors to secure sponsorships for the Oklahoma State University summer camp.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who has already stepped up to support us! 🙏 We are closing in on our target, but we still have a final push to make to ensure all 12 of our wrestlers can attend this June.

The season may be over, but the work for a State Championship starts now. We are incredibly proud of everything our Greenwave wrestlers accomplished this year—from our historic LCAC title runs to our recent end-of-year banquet. You can relive the journey in our season yearbooks here:

Now, we are looking toward the summer. We are raising funds to send 12 of our dedicated athletes to an elite one-week wrestling camp at Oklahoma State University. This is a vital opportunity for them to train with the best in the country.

We need your help to get them there! Each athlete needs to raise $1,650 to cover tuition and travel. Our FMWC athletes are ready to earn your support through hard work and odd jobs!

Thank you to everyone who came out to today’s Kris Hayward Summer Wrestling Clinic at Fort Myers High School. We had a great turnout and an even better day of learning and competing on the mats.

A big thank you to Coach Frank Beasley, Coach Peter Pappas, and Riley Hackworth for taking the time to coach and work with our wrestlers. We also appreciate WIBN for organizing and supporting this event.
