Man, I love this place.

It’s so cool to look back. A little over a year in operation, and this continues to become more real with every person who walks through our doors.

One of the things I’m most proud of is knowing how organically this has all been built. A lot of work, plenty of obstacles to figure out along the way, and the determination to keep pushing forward.

To everyone who was part of our beginning, and to everyone who’s just now becoming part of Legacy, thank you for trusting the vision and growing with us.

There’s still so much more ahead, but it’s pretty damn cool to look back and visually see the small progress.

Pin escapes officially done!

Today’s comp class was all about putting everything we’ve learned together, and we even got a little preview of what’s coming next week as we dive into our Submissions.

Back to school means new routines, new expectations, and situations that won’t always go your child’s way.

And learning how to navigate those moments is a skill.
That’s one of the reasons I believe this is one of the best times to introduce your child to Jiu-Jitsu.

At Legacy, we intentionally use Jiu-Jitsu to put kids in challenging situations where they can practice staying composed and working through their emotions.

Listen in as I talk about why emotional control is such an important part of what we do.
