Told my oncologist we should put a sign up front - "Two for the price of one" or "BOGO".....or "Landmark Cancer Center - where folks come to get lit up"

Tomorrow might be round #8...but it's been a tough off week...blood clots, both lungs, pulmonary infractions, pneumonia .... amazing how the body bounces back though!!!! Almost keeps up with the soul!!! Owe it all to the prayers and amazing family!!!! Life's amazing, don't waste it!

It's night one of beginning infusion of Round 7...I could sit here and tell you how awful it is....but, what good would that do!? I feel prompted to tell you how blessed I am. Gary, The Boys, sisters, brother, adopted siblings, adopted parents, adopted kids, medical people, co-workers, chemo-bar Warriors.....STRANGERS!!! So many....on days when I wanna RUN FAR (in truth I'd be lucky to make it to the back yard)....but I remember all of you. And I am reminded I am blessed. I can do hard things....I can, and I will....watch me (but stay with me you're my secret weapon!)......and well, I wanna sleep...like for YEARS!!!!

Today our family begins Round #7...I say our family because this has been a journey we've all travelled, together. Round 6 was awful so hoping 7's LUCKY!!!! It's all about perspective - lots of positive in all the YUCK!!! Just gotta find it!!!!

Chemo got me feeling wolfish....ahhhh ROUND 6....chemo I did not miss you. Almost half way done!!!

ROUND #5.....told them I wanted the mamba #5 side effects this time!!!!! Someone at work asked how chemo is, told them it's like being on a roller coaster...you're almost at the top, clink clink clink....and you know as you crest the top, the bottoms going to drop out.....and it'll take a week before I start to climb back up.....
