Bikram Yoga Fort Myers would like to extend a warm welcome to Guest Teacher, John Golterman!

John first discovered Bikram Yoga in the 90’s, with a background in theatre/dance, the practice helped to speedily heal injuries he sustained during those years. In Spring 2000, John attended Bikram’s Teacher Training and went on to open his first school the following year, Bikram Yoga Chelsea. In 2004 he opened Bikram Yoga Williamsburg.

After 15 years of running schools, John extended his studies traveling to India to learn Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Yoga Massage. John currently resides in Los Angeles, where he continued to teach and judge for the USA Yoga Asana Championships.

In his words, “ I’ve explored many modalities of healing and meditation, and I have never encountered a more complete foundational yoga practice than the original 26/2 Bikram sequence.  I’m thrilled to share my experience with the Fort Myers community, to reconnect with my own Bikram Practice in your hot room.  Teaching this Yoga is a divine privilege.”

Bikram Yoga Fort Myers would like to extend a warm welcome to Guest Teacher, Samantha Lockwood!

Born into a Bikram yoga lineage—her actor parents Gary Lockwood and Denise DuBarry were also students of Bikram—she carries the tradition with authenticity and care. In the summer of 1999 in LA, she attended Bikram’s Teacher Training at the age of 17, garnering the Best In Posture award. Samantha is also the founder of Bikram Yoga Kauai and has been teaching internationally for two decades.

Aside from teaching yoga, Samantha is also an actress and has had numerous TV and Film roles, and is the founder of .

Samantha will be with us through the month of May, please welcome her with open arms and lots of love!
