Meet our May Member of the Month, Reed P. ⚡💛
If there’s one thing Reed is going to do, it’s say yes to a challenge 😈 Since joining Thunder, he’s become the definition of stepping outside your comfort zone and seeing what’s possible on the other side.
Whether it’s getting talked into doing The Open (and getting his first ring muscle up 👀), signing up for a 24-hour Murph challenge, or pushing himself through Hyrox training, Reed consistently shows up ready to work 💪
One of Reed’s biggest accomplishments so far has been completing the Miami Hyrox. When he first signed up, weighted lunges had him sore for a week… but instead of backing down, he leaned into the process, trusted the training, and proved to himself what he was capable of 🔥 Now, he’s already chasing an even bigger goal: breaking 1:10 in his next race 🫡
What makes Reed’s approach so cool is that he doesn’t put himself in one lane. You’ll find him grinding through CrossFit classes, putting in extra work in the gym’s Hybrid Zone for race prep, and embracing whatever challenge is next. He’s incredibly coachable, one of the hardest workers in the room, and always willing to try something new ⚡️
Reed says fitness has changed his perspective on life and wants to help others build fitness that supports their everyday lives… and that mindset shows in how he supports everyone around him too 🫂
