I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time.

I love the game of hockey, and while most people know me through goaltending, my experience and passion for the game have always gone well beyond the crease.

So, I’ve decided it’s time for the next chapter.

Jim Landis Goaltending is becoming Jim Landis Hockey.

I’m not stepping away from goaltending — far from it. Goaltending is where my heart will always be. I’m expanding what I do. Moving forward, I’ll be working with goalies and skaters on skating, stickhandling, shooting, defensive skills, hockey IQ, and overall player development.

One thing that will never change is my philosophy.

As much as I want to help kids become better hockey players, I would rather help them become better young men and women. Hockey gives us a pretty incredible opportunity to teach work ethic, confidence, accountability, resilience, and how to be a good teammate. That will always matter more to me than what shows up on a scoresheet.

To everyone who has trusted me with their players over the years, THANK YOU!. I hope you’ll continue to trust me to be a small part of their hockey journey.

Congrats Owen St Jean and Liz Woods St Jean on playing up to 16U at 13. Hard work pays off buddy! I am beyond proud of the work you put in and the progress you make on a regular basis! This isn’t success this is a step.
