We said a very hard “goodbye” to our big mama Dallas this week. After many efforts were made in an attempt to make her comfortable it became apparent she was not going to have a pain free life so we did what we felt was kindest and laid her to rest. She truly gave her all to her last foal Dublin and raised a healthy, happy baby. After having a very hard life working an Amish farm pulling farm equipment and being overbred she was dumped at the Bowie Texas killpen where we scooped her up in foal a few months ago & she was able to come home with us to learn love and affection. Dallas will be greatly missed ❤️

Hi guys! We’re officially open for booking fall horseback riding lessons 🍁🍂🐴😎

Schedule for October is open now through to September 15th. Timespots open available are weekdays morning and late afternoon to early evening as well as weekend mornings. Pricing is $50/student/half hour and $90/student/hour. All lessons are individual private lessons at our facility in Fort Mohave. Quick announcement! With all our Fall activities coming up we’d like to let you all know baby Dublin (aka Dubs) will be joining us for a few events including the Swanty’s Howl-O-Ween for pets and cuddles and to meet the public. Come visit our giant baby girl and Dante. 😎

Hi guys! Due to the extreme heat expected for Saturday and Sunday this weekend all lessons are canceled and will be set for reschedules. Please touch base over the weekend & tomorrow so we can coordinate when to put your reschedules after a few days when it’s cooled down to more normal temperatures. We don’t want to melt our boy Dante working him or turn your kiddos or you into a puddle. Thank! Stay cool 😎 🐴

Hey guys! Summer is wrapping up but camp “Weekends” are in the works 😎🐴✌️ We have space for just a few students for the weekend of September 5th & 6th from 8am to 11am for students age 6 to 14. Activities will include learning about equines through educational games, groundwork, a short period of riding both days, and of course - Fun! Pricing is $250 per student for both days. Reserve your spot now as space is very limited!

A little update on Dallas for her fan club - she’s doing much better now that she’s adjusted to having the whole paddock to herself since we’ve weaned baby Dublin from her & she’s getting a lot more naps. Her leg swelling is finally starting to go down now that she’s getting off her feet more instead of parading around making sure her foal is getting everything she needs. Hopefully she acclimates to the heat soon, in the meantime we’re getting extra meals in her, light exercise, lots of showers, and a new sprinkler and stall mist system. Can’t wait for her to make it through this rough stage and enjoying a simpler life then the hard work of pulling a plow and pushing out foals year after year that she had before the Amish dumped her at the kill pen. We’re fortunate to have her and Dubs at our facility.
