ANGLES CREATE FORCE. FORCE CREATES SPEED. 📐💨
One of the most important details of the sled push for speed is driving the knee forward/horizontal to create the proper shin and body angle.
We’re not just trying to move the sled, we’re training athletes to produce force from positions that transfer to acceleration.
When the knee drives forward and the athlete maintains the correct angle, it puts them in a better position to achieve triple extension through the hip, knee, and ankle and apply force back into the ground.
The goal:
→ Positive shin angle
→ Horizontal knee drive
→ Strong hip projection
→ Hip + knee + ankle extension
→ Force applied backward = body propelled forward
Don’t just push the sled. Train the position. Train the angle. Train acceleration. 🫡💜💯
