One thing about me… if we’re training together, we’re probably gonna laugh A LOT too 😂💪🏾

Kylie and I were over here cracking up during our session because honestly… I’m basically a giant goofball disguised as a personal trainer 😅

But truthfully, I believe fitness SHOULD be fun.

Yes, we work hard.
Yes, we push ourselves.
Yes, we challenge the body and mind.

But this journey toward a healthier, happier life doesn’t have to feel miserable all the time.

Some of the best transformations happen when people actually ENJOY showing up.

Over the past 25 years as a personal trainer here in Fort Mill, SC, one of my favorite things has been building relationships with clients, encouraging them, making them laugh, and helping them realize they’re capable of way more than they thought possible.

Training isn’t just about losing weight or building muscle…
It’s about improving your quality of life, confidence, energy, mobility, health, and happiness along the way.

🐊🐊 FOUND MY NEW WORKOUT PARTNER IN ORLANDO! 💪🏾😃🏆
After 25+ years as a personal trainer, I finally found someone who might be tougher than some of my clients… a Florida gator! 😂

We were out on the lake and spotted my very first wild alligator, about 6 feet long. Then I found this guy and figured if I was going to train in Orlando, I needed a workout partner with some serious strength credentials. 😎

Did you know?

🐊 Alligators can have a bite force of over 2,000 pounds per square inch, one of the strongest bites in the animal kingdom.

🐊 They can grow over 13 feet long and weigh more than 1,000 pounds.

🐊 Despite their size, they can sprint surprisingly fast for short distances.

🐊 Florida is home to more than 1 million alligators, and they play an important role in keeping the ecosystem healthy.

Looking at this guy got me thinking…

Strength isn’t about age. It’s about staying active, building muscle, moving well, and taking care of your body year after year.

Many of my clients in their 50s, 60s, and 70s are getting stronger today than they were 10 years ago. They’re improving balance, mobility, flexibility, energy, and confidence while continuing to enjoy life, travel, play with grandkids, and do the things they love.

No, I don’t recommend wrestling alligators for exercise. 😅

But I do recommend strength training that helps you stay strong, independent, and healthy for years to come.

People know me as a personal trainer in Fort Mill, SC. Some know me as a husband, a friend, or “Fit Emmett.” But one of the most fun titles I’ll ever have is simply… Dad. 💪🏾😃❤️

One day I’m coaching clients through squats and nutrition plans… the next day I’m backstage helping with dresses, hair, pageants, softball, and trying to figure out how I somehow became a full blown pageant dad. 😂👑

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Being a dad isn’t about looking cool or having all the answers. It’s about showing up. It’s about being present in whatever season your kids are in. Whether it’s sports, pageants, dance, school events, or just late night talks in the kitchen… those moments matter.

As a son of the Most High God, I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead, love, encourage, and support my family while helping others in the Fort Mill area become healthier, stronger, and more confident too.

Fitness has taught me something powerful:
Consistency builds strength.
Not just in the gym… but in fatherhood, marriage, friendships, and life.

So to all the dads out there… don’t just chase success. Chase moments. Show up. Cheer loud. Embarrass your kids a little. Take the pictures. Be involved.

Because years from now they won’t remember your max bench press…
But they WILL remember that you were there. ❤️

Most people in their 50s, 60s, 70s, and even 80s don’t realize how much their posture impacts the way they feel every single day. 🏆😃

Poor postural alignment can contribute to stiffness, joint pain, limited mobility, poor balance, decreased flexibility, and even reduced confidence in movement. That’s why one of the first things I do with my clients is a detailed Postural Assessment so we can identify imbalances, movement limitations, and areas that need strengthening or corrective work.

With over 24 years of personal training and coaching experience, my goal is not just to help you exercise… it’s to help you move better, feel better, get stronger, improve flexibility, support your joints, build muscle tone, and improve your overall quality of life.

We reassess every 30 days to track progress and make adjustments using targeted corrective movements, strength training, mobility work, and posture-focused exercises designed specifically for YOUR body and YOUR goals.
