Welcome to Mill Town, Coach Braden Small!

Braden joins our 2028 Trosky team as the new Head Coach for the 2027 summer season.

A proud Lancaster/Indian Land native, Braden is a 2022 graduate of Indian Land High School, where he developed a strong passion for baseball as both a player and future coach. Following graduation, he continued his playing career at USCL as a two-way player in 2022. A career-ending arm injury forced him to step away from playing, but opened the door to pursue coaching and player development.

Braden began his coaching career at Indian Land High School, where he has served as Pitching Coach since 2023. During his time on staff, Indian Land has earned back-to-back District Championships and made back-to-back Final Four appearances. He has played an important role in developing the program’s pitching staff and young athletes.

Braden has also made a significant impact with Lancaster American Legion Post 31, serving as Pitching Coach during the 2025 summer season before taking over as Head Coach in 2026. His progression within the program reflects his passion for player development and commitment to baseball in the Lancaster and Indian Land communities.

We’re glad to have Braden bring that experience and commitment to our 2028 Trosky team. Welcome to Mill Town!

Mill Town is growing our youth teams! ⚾️

Have an established team looking for a home? Thinking about coaching and starting a new team? We’d love to talk.

We’re proud of what we’ve built here in Fort Mill and what we offer our coaches and families:

🔹 A strong baseball community and family atmosphere
🔹 Access to The Hit Mill training facility
🔹 Local practices and practice field scheduling
🔹 High-level tournament
🔹 Tuition reimbursement for coaches’ sons
🔹 Administrative resources and support
🔹 Opportunities to grow from youth through showcase baseball

Our support goes well beyond the field. We handle tournament registrations and payments, rostering, tryout organization, practice scheduling, and the behind-the-scenes details that take time off a coach’s plate.

Let’s talk about starting your team or bringing your team into Mill Town.

We’re looking for coaches who love teaching the game, care about developing kids, and share our Hustle, Effort, Attitude approach.
