The team was started by Dennis Shatto in 1958 that was the first year he competed, he drove one time but was not really liking the driving part so he became a car owner, after that he had many drivers pilot his cars such as Gene Smith, Wayne Watercutter , Dan Mckibben, Dennis Kelly, Dick Kelly just to name a few over the years. after Dennis passed away in 2006 his son Kevin took over the racing op

eration the first driver the team had was Chris Parker the team won races at shadybowl speedway and went on to win rookie of the year in 2011 with Parker, in 2012 Nathan Herron took over the driving duties winning the team a track championship in 2013, now in 2015 the driving duties will be Jim Lewis Jr. the team is hoping to have a good season now in 2021 Josh Sage took over driving duties for Shatto Motorsports in the late model division at Shadybowl Speedway in 2024 Jordan Sage took over driving duties in the modified winning one feature and finished 7 th in the modified points in 2025 Jordan will be running a full schedule of the modified at Shadybowl and running the 4 races with the late model in the Ohio 300 series at Shadybowl
