Here is my #1 tactical athlete or busy father nutrition tip:

Buy a Nutribullet.

This is Tang, Whey, Creatine, a sq**rt of mio vitamin, and pink salt over ice, water added after. It takes 5 minutes tops and I'm out the door OR I'm able to drink it down while I cook my minions a real breakfast, since we all know that as soon as I get them food it'll be a constant struggle to get them to sit still and actually eat it before we leave the house.

50g C, 30g P, 0g F Macros, 5g Sodium, 5g Creatine, and whatever B Vitamin complex I get from that mio. That's a solid start to any day.

While every person is different, and every goal unique, if you're a military athlete, there's a really good chance that I have the experience and education to successfully give you the tools to meet and exceed your goals.

Accepting new clients through the end of June, spots still available. Sending me a DM and seeing if it's for you is always free.

To quote an old CSM: Ya'll don't fu***ng read.

Does your coach have anything past their following to back up their training and coaching? Do they read? Have they sought out other experts? Do they go to symposiums or do they talk to their peers?

Or do they say their way is the only way, and live in a silo? Do they insult other trainers, promote singular diets or say they have "1 wierd trick?"

Taking new clients until the end of June.

My client intake is in my bio, and DM'ing me is always free.

I typically keep a short list of clients so I can give them better attention, and I'm going to open up 5 new spots this month.

I'm 100% online (delivered through the Train Heroic App), and a great fit for general population or Tactical Athletes with goals they want to reach. I'm comfortable with several other modalities as well, and if I feel I cannot help you I will point you in the direction of someone I trust who can.

No hidden fees, the cost you sign up at is the cost for life.

You can message me for more information on any of my social media, or comment on this post and I will message you.

As a coach, you change your mind on stuff as you learn more and evolve, and one thing I've changed my mind on a lot is Over Training.

I used to think over training was real, and you could over train.

Then I did some reading, and decided over training was more or less myth.

Now I've settled on over training is real. But you're very likely not training hard enough to experience it. And if you are, you probably need to clean up your lifestyle long before you need to worry about true over training.

Sorry to my normal Facebook groups, but unfortunately this is what Zuck wanted.

Max Effort Bands and Chains.

When using accommodating resistance for your speed work, you're training yourself to move with intent through the lift instead of slowing down at the top where the lift is the easiest.

So, adding the same resistance to your maximum effort lifts allows you to overload the lift at the point where you are the strongest. This is a good method to use if you're sticking at a certain point in the lift and need a way to bump past it. When using this method, I like to load the bar with 85%-95% straight weight, and 10%-20% chain or band, making the top of the lift 105%-115% of the previous recorded max.

It is important to note that chains will completely deload at the bottom of the lift, but if you set your Bands up properly they will not, so you have to account for this when setting and adjusting your weights.
