**Senior League NJ State Baseball Final Four Tournament Update**

Our Senior League (16u) Fort Lee / Cliffside Park "D6 East Allstars" boys fell to Point Pleasant Beach last night, knocking them out of the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP tournament, and finishing THIRD in the State. Although always hard to lose a high stakes game, the boys took it in stride, soaked in the moment, and recognized how far they made it, and what they achieved. Now they look forward to spending the remaining dog days of Summer relaxing.

Well done Boys, you made us proud!!!

**TONIGHT** Game 3 of the NJ Senior League (16u) State Baseball Tournament.

Fort Lee / Cliffside Park "D6 East Allstars" (1-1, 10-2) took a tough loss last night against Cherry Hill, 12-2. Come out tonight and support our boys in the tournaments "win or go home" game against Point Pleasant Beach (1-1). A win propels them into the Championship game Friday night - a loss, ends their Summer run.

**CONGRATULATIONS** to our Fort Lee / Cliffside Park "D6 East Allstars" winning the SECTION 2 Senior League Championship today, in Nutley, NJ vs. Nutley, 6-3.

After being down 3-0 into the bottom of the 5th, the Team rallied with a quick run, 3-1, then loaded up the bases, only to have Chris "CK" Kim hit a Grand Slam over the left center wall to put us up 5-3. In classic baseball 'back to back' fashion, the next batter, Jack Dorkhom, also went yard with a solo shot over the left field wall down the line! With a modest 7 team hits, 96 pitches thrown by John Raftopolous, and closed by Nic Ortiz - we punched our tickets to the STATE TOURNAMENT, in Old Bridge, NJ, July 11th to 15th.

**Section 2 Senior League (16u) Tournament**
Last night, the Fort Lee/Cliffside Park "D6 East Allstars" took game 1 of the Sectional tournament with a decisive 9-2 win over Nutley. With the win last night they earn a bye and will roll into the Championship game, Saturday at 10am, with a second game at noon (if neccessary!!)

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SENIOR LEAGUE (16U) Baseball team for raising another banner for Fort Lee Baseball!!! They defeated Hackensack in the "win or go home" match-up 10-1. Next up, Sectionals - July 6th in Nutley, NJ.

**TONIGHT** The boys Fort Lee Senior League team (aka D6 East Allstars) won game 1 of the double elimination District 6 Championship Game. Having lost to Hackensack earlier in the playoffs, Fort Lee has to beat them twice to take home the Banner! And they won game one last night, 4-1!!! If they win tonight, they are the Senior League District 6 Champions and will make their way into the Section 2, Sectionals Tournament Round.

**Senior League** After losing last night to Hackensack 3-2, the Fort Lee/Cliffside Park "D6 East Allstars" (5-1) dropped into the Loser Bracket and faced an elimination game today in Little Ferry. Facing adversity, they bounced back with an 8 hit, 14 run game to eliminate Pal Park / Little Ferry and get back to the District 6 Championship game. Because of the loss, the D6 Allstars will have to beat Hackensack twice, or go home for the Summer.
Game 1 is scheduled for Sunday Night at 7pm. Location is TBD. Game 2, Monday Night, 7pm, Location, TBD.

**Tonight** Come out and Support!!! In this double elimination Championship Game, Fort Lee faces elimination in a must win game to even things up and get to game 2 tomorrow night - to bring home the District 6 banner!
